i need to re-glue the strip of wood trim on a glove box door. the latch on ours was busted and i found a new one in a junkyard that worked fine, just had the wood peeling loose at the edges. before i jump into it., i was wondering if anybody had a favorite adhesive for this application. gorilla glue seems like it would foam too much, i'm thinking a good contact cement but it might be hard to get in there.

if anybody could tell me how to get the lock slider off of the door (i don't have the key - its from a different car) that could be a big help, since then i could just remove and re-glue the whole thing.

thanks guys!
