I am getting a new head gasket, along with a visit to the machine shop on heads.
is there any possibility that running B100 could have caused this? I doubt it myself (290k on engine) , but thought I would throw the question out just the same.
is there any head gasket that would work better while running b100?
Thanks

Re: head gasket

Thats usually a symptom of overheating, if you've got biodiesel making contact with the headgasket, you my friend have serious other problems that are not fuel related. Primarily the fuel goes in the fuel tank not the oil filler. I would be looking for a stuck thermostat or a faulty water pump or maybe a lack of coolant or proper coolant mixture in the engine. -
